CONNECT NETWORK IS UNREACHABLE LINUX VMWARE HOW TO
I have seen some similar questions but still dont have a clue about how to fix it. So everything seems to work just fine, but when I'm trying to ping to 8.8.8.8, for example, I get the following error message: The first time, the network worked fine, and I was even installing it over SSH. I am new to linux and networking and today I have a 'connect: Network is unreachable' when executing ping or sudo apt commands. Running ifconfig -a gives the following output:Īs you can see the IP-address is 192.168.3.59, which is being assigned by the DHCP server of my host network (subnet 192.168.3).

How is your host connected to the local network (Cable modem, Router, Switch, Wired or Wireless.etc) 0 Kudos.

I'm trying use a network bridge adapter for my VM (fresh Ubuntu server 16.04 LTS install) within the latest version of Virtualbox (v5.0.20). Post the output from 'ipconfig /all' from your Windows host and post the output from ' ifconfig -a' from your Linux guest.
